From where does Snowhawks get their instructors?
Some Wednesday Adult Getaway instructors are graduates of our own Instructor-In-Training classes. In that way, we are able to hire “insiders” who know our system well. Other instructors join us from the ranks of various local ski and snowboard schools. Many hours of pre-season training, both dry land and on-hill, ensure that all staff are well versed in our expectations. In addition, all are certified by the Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance (“CSIA”) – the majority are Level III or IV, the Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors (“CASI”) and/or the Canadian Ski Coaches Federation (“CSCF”).
