From people who where there; what was The first Woodstock ( 1969) like?? :D?
It was cold. It was wet. It was a sea of mud. It was a lot of noise, stink, and confusion. There was not enough clean water, and not enough to eat. A number of people overdosed, and quite a few others got very, very sick. Most of us realized it was a stupid thing from the start. And a whole lot of people who can’t tell you where Woodstock was, pretend they were there. Dorky wannabees! I wasn’t there either, but my cousin was – he was a young doctor who helped to care for those who OD’ed and got sick. He told me about it and has some film clips nobody but family has ever seen.
