From Jamshedpur to Mumbai, how has the journey been so far?
I always dreamt of being an actor. Since I am a trained classical dancer, I also wanted to explore dancing opportunities. And Mumbai is the city of dreams. So to fulfill my dreams, I had to step out of Jamshedpur. I have been here for six months. For a 19-year-old, who hails from a small town, living alone and working in Mumbai is quite an experience and difficult too. This is your first TV show. How confident are you and what preparations have you made as an actor? I am very excited. I have not made any preparations as such, but I feel that my theatre experience in school and college would help me a lot. Though TV is a new medium, acting is not new to me. I will deliver my best.
