From a Christian perspective, is there any danger being interested in horoscopes, Tarot cards or Ouija board?
Jesus described demons in Luke 5 as “birds.” And like birds in the spring, evil or unclean spirits are also looking for places to nest. (See Luke 11:24-26). When we participate in the activities your friend is messing around with, we are putting out “bird seed” for these unclean spirits. And believe me, they will come! The fact that you’re sensative and not wanting to “beat her up with a Bible” is noble and wanting to walk in gentleness, which is good and sign of maturity. But remember there’s another side of being a good friend and Christian and that is warning people of the consequences of their choices. You cannot stop her from participating in those dark things but you can warn her about them. If she decides to ignore you and go forward with them, then you’ll be called to walk in SELF control and not join her obviously, and tell her that if she continues to do those things then you’re not interested in a friendship.
