Friends reunion movie – would you like to see the cast of the Friends TV show reunited in a movie?
I don’t think it would work personally, just because Friends was a sitcom and it was shot on a studio set and thats one of the reasons why it worked so well, you couldn’t have the cast walking around the streets of new york getting into their comedic sitcomy situations without the audience background laughter and all that stuff and I can’t imagine people wanted to go pay good money to watch the cast act on the old set for what would seem like a two hour episode that they could have watched at home on their couch for free. I’m a big fan of Friends and I know that some people think because Sex and the City movie worked and why cudn’t friends, but Sex and the City was and has always been shot in a movie format and out in the open with no backing laughter for the funny moments and alot of genuine extras and thats why it transitioned so easily to the big screen, which I don’t think Friends would.
