Freudian slip, right, Mr. Buckingham?
A. I won’t say a Freudian slip. I’ll say I made a human mistake. Q. So, Mr. Buckingham, I guess what you’re telling us then is that when you gave that statement that we just looked at on the video monitor, at that time you were aware that the board, that the local press had been reporting that you used the word creationism, isn’t that correct? A. Through talking with the board members through our own conversations, yes, but not through reading any of their papers. I knew whenever we said intelligent design, creationism would crop up in the newspaper the next day, and it was a common problem we were having and we didn’t know how to overcome it. So we actually stopped talking to the reporters.
