French Open 2010, who will win?
The French Open will be played from May 24th through June 7th in Paris. It is the only Major conducted on clay, a painfully slow surface that minimizes the effectiveness of big servers and enhances players with excellent stamina who hit precise ground strokes…like Nadal and Henin. The surface is made of crushed red brick and is much slower than hard courts or grass. The clay tends to grab the ball as it hits the surface, producing a big bounce. Nadal is not only one of the elite clay court players of his time, but of all-time. And for the first time in a calendar year, Nadal appears to be fully healthy.
