Forward budget forecasts What should we provide at question 14.3 – budget for the next financial year?

If you are submitting financial statements based on a financial year, your application should be accompanied with a budget forecast for the 2010-11 financial year. If you currently operate on a calendar year you should have your projections for the remainder of 2010. Any 2011 budget forecast can be a separate document and does not have to be included in the financial statements. Whilst you may not yet have a 2011 projection the provision of a budget forecast for the 2010-11 financial year or the 2011 calendar year shows a degree of financial discipline which might strengthen an application particularly if current financials are close to breaching the required thresholds.
