For which applications can I use the BIOSTAT® Bplus?
The BIOSTAT® Bplus is applicable to various cell types from microorganisms to cell culture. Suitable for both high cell density cultures as well as sheer sensitive filamentous organisms you can choose from a wide range of configurations. O2-Enrichment The BIOSTAT® Bplus with integrated O2-Enrichment gassing capability enables high oxygen transfer for high cell density cultures as well as sheer-stress sensitive gassing for filamentous organisms. Furthermore, it may help to solve foaming problems due to the possibility of reduced gassing rates. Cascaded supply and mixture of Air and O2 Sparger flow is controlled by an integrated rotameter and may be enhanced by optional mass flow controllers. Gas Flow Ratio Control The Gas Flow Ratio Control (GFRC) packages is different from the previously mentioned O2 Enrichment package.
