FOR THE RECORD: N.P. Moss: Is tech high school the best way to move ahead?
Editor’s note: Recently, we invited a group to speak about the possible creation of a technical high school at N.P. Moss Middle School but open to students from throughout the parish. Joining us were Burnell Lejeune, the School System’s director of career and technical education; School Board member Mike Hefner, a supporter of the technical school concept; and Melvin Ceasar and Greg Davis of 100 Black Men of Greater Lafayette, which has opposed the plan. Excerpts appear here. Videos are online at theadvertiser.com.
