Labor classification should be determined by the contractor. 2009-09-17 Plan Sheet 5 of 10 indicates “no track walking required on the rocky slopes and rock out croppings as identified by the engineer” How or What will determine the area not tracked, and how will this deletion affect the lump sum bid price? Track walking is a unit price bid item, not a lump sum item. Refer to Section 01025, Measurement and Payment, Part 1.06, Paragraph B, Item 2 and Bid Proposal Bidding Sheet, Item 5. Track walking is not required on small, isolated rocky slopes and rock outcroppings within the Work area as directed by the Engineer. See Addendum 2.
