For the English:How often do you really eat fish and chips?
Fish and Chips – as such – probably about once a month EXCEPT that sometimes on the way home from a pub there MAY be a chip shop ‘en route’ which would blow my theory! Sensibly though, I think a majority of people DO eat fish once a week – even if it IS in the form of those dreadful fish fingers, but most of us prefer a REAL piece of fish but nowadays the price of anything decent has gone through the roof and we are “encouraged” to eat the cheaper and more prolific varieties of fish which, of course, are rarely as nice as the proverbial “Cod and Chips” ! ! !
