Event visits are a true “test drive” of a DJ Companies’ merits but many brides and event hosts generally don’t allow this as much anymore, which is a shame in our opinion. As for the dreaded “showroom” visit, is it really reflective of how your system will look and sound at your event? Even in a car showroom you know they’re only going to display the newest and cleanest cars on the lot. The real purpose is to get you in their chair where it’s a lot easier to get you to sign their service agreement. This is why we recommend taking their service agreement home with you if they offer one. If they give you incentives to “sign today” instead of allowing you to take it home, leave the service agreement on the table, thank them for their time and leave.
