your friend had ever seen and they hadn’t been to a wedding in years! Event visits are a true “test drive” of a DJ Companies’ merits but many brides and event hosts generally don’t allow this as much anymore, which is a shame in our opinion. As for the dreaded “showroom” visit, is it really reflective of how your system will look and sound at your event? Even in a car showroom you know they’re only going to display the newest and cleanest cars on the lot. The real purpose is to get you in their chair where it’s a lot easier to get you to sign their service agreement. This is why we recommend taking their service agreement home with you if they offer one. If they give you incentives to “sign today” instead of allowing you to take it home, leave the service agreement on the table, thank them for their time and leave. Most of have worked for DJ Agencies whose main goal was to get your deposit (usually 50% of the total!) because of their need for volume, they have x number of DJs they need
