Although we try to keep portfolio turnover to a minimum, no active investment strategy is optimized for tax efficiency. This includes our Dynamic Advisor Programs, Alpha Allocation Portfolios, or Hedgeable Funds. Active strategies are terrific for retirement accounts such as IRAs and 401(k)s. Our passive strategies such as the Long-Term Stock, High-Income Stock, and Fixed Income ETF, have little to no trading throughout the year, so taxes consequences are greatly reduced.
