For some reason, my WebMail inbox appears empty. Why can I access the same messages I can see with my regular email program?
WebMail displays only NEW messages that still exist on the EastLink email server. Any email messages that you open in your email program (such as Outlook Express) on your home or office computer will not be available for viewing through EastLink WebMail. (Because they have already been downloaded from the email server and now reside locally on your computer.) We recommend that you keep your email program on your computer closed when you wish to use EastLink WebMail. By doing this, your messages will not be downloaded to your home or office computer and therefore will be available through EastLink WebMail.
