For some AHCI HBAs, why does DriveMaster always issue PIO commands with one DRQ transfer even if the user requests more?

Some AHCI HBA only support single DRQ for PIO commands, so software should not issue any PIO commands w/ more than one DRQ. If the user issues PIO commands w/ more than one DRQ transfer, DriveMaster will adjust it to one DRQ in order to follow the spec requirement.
