For RNs whose TILE certification will expire before 9/1/08, do they have to pay to renew TILE certification and then pay for the new RUG training?

Unfortunately, yes. The TILE certification course is a separate fee and course from the RUG training. TILE certification is necessary for 3652-A submissions, while RUG is necessary for the MDS and/or Medical Necessity and Level of Care Assessment for Community.
