For proposals on community-based service learning – is there a required amount of time that 4th year students need to spend in the community sites to meet the grant requirements?
No, there is not a required amount of time for student rotations. We ask that applicants “significantly increase the number of days most senior students spend providing care to underserved patients”. In phase I schools average was 50 days or almost 10 weeks by the end of the five-year grant period.
