For patients who have consented to participate in the parallel Biological Study, when should blood samples be collected, how should the samples be stored and when will they be collected?
A 10ml EDTA blood sample should be taken from the patient, BEFORE treatment begins. DNA will be collected from the blood and so samples should be stored to allow for this, as per local practice. It is not yet certain when the blood samples will be required and so samples should be stored until further notice.
