For offshore platforms, can we apply the Core Products in underwater, splash zones and above-the-deck areas?
A. All our products can be applied on splash zones. For under-the-water structures and areas exposed to high-levels of corrosion, we recommend Rustonic-Mastic™. For any areas above the deck, you may use either Rustcoat™ orRustguard™. While our products can be used underwater, note, however, that they CANNOT BE APPLIED UNDERWATER. If there are any under-the-water structures which need coating, you should remove them out of the water (e.g. onto a dry surface) for application.
