For how long will each young person receive their EMA?
A. Young people may be entitled to receive their EMA for a maximum of 3 years (as long as the household income does not rise above the upper income threshold per annum threshold). The EMA will be available over a four year period for those young people who may need additional time in education to achieve their full potential.
