Answer Hi, Thanks for the question. To start off, there are a few things you can do to improve balance. I’m not sure if you have access to balance board – can be made, put a piece of wood on top of something round in the middle and can balance on that. You can combine squats with it, etc… If you don’t have access to that, you can search on google plyometric drills. I did these for many years and not only balance, but foot speed and power increased dramatically. If you have trouble finding some, let me know and I can get some for you. Secondly, some things to improve leg power with machines would be to do squat jumps, single leg jumps, wall sits. You can put bunch of books in a backpack and put on to add some resistance. You can also put this on back and run stairs, doing every step, every other step.
