• The Eastern Michigan University Women’s Resource Center opened in 1991 for women out of the efforts of the feminist women’s organization Womynspace. On a campus as large as Eastern’s the Women’s Center serves as a place where women can find resources, information, advocacy, and referrals, as well as a place where they can meet, get school supplies and participate in on-going programs.
