For Features 1 and 2: What is the nature of the photos on display in the interactive? What is the ratio of historical photographs to archival photographs of artifacts?
We do not currently have a count or even a rough estimation of how much material will be photographs or images of artifacts. Please see http://www.lamoth.org/archives.html for a general description of the nature of the materials. Q. For Features 4 and 5: Are these displays permanently mounted into the exhibits or are they designed to be moved? Can we suggest the physical forms for these interactive technology or will they be incorporated into display cases provided by the museum? The Small Single Touch Controlled Information Displays (Feature 4) and the Small Information Displays (Feature 5) will be fixed to the floor. We are familiar with a these devices as used in the Nobel Museum in Stockholm, but the suggestion of alternative devices is also welcome. RFP for Web Design View the Web Design RFP Here.
