For experienced moms only: Which diaper is better Pampers or Luvs?
We tried every brand for my daughter and mostly stuck with huggies and pampers – they work the same and we just picked the cuter design. However, I did make a diaper cake for two baby showers before. I bought smaller packs – the 1st layer was size 1, the second layer was size 2, and the third layer was size 3, to give a variety of sizes since most babies don’t stay in once diaper size for very long, especially if the baby is a chubby one. Mine looked like a real 3 layer cake made of diapers. To hold each layer together I put ribbon around it. For one, they wouldn’t tell what the baby was going to be, so I used yellow ribbon. The other was going to be a boy, so I used blue ribbon. To keep it all on a base, i used one of those round silver foil trays you can buy in packs of 2 at Wal-Mart. I made each layer separate and it got just a little smaller with each of the two layers on top so that it was a tiered diaper cake.
