For Diamond Level sponsors, the team will cook for us at our location. How is this a benifit?
Most companies will host various special events throughout the year for their employees and/or customers. This is a good moral builder or a way of saying thanks to their customers, but when sponsoring our team this is were you’ll see a direct return on your investment. A catering company will charge around $8/person for the standard BBQ plate. Cooking for 300 people would cost you around $2,400. Most of the money goes towards wages and profit for ther catering compnay, but for Diamond Level sponsors, we provide the labor and we are not looking for a profit. The sponsor only pays for the food and supplies. For the same 300 people, a company will pay around $500 ($1.67/person), so that initial investment to sponsor our team just saved the company $1,900.
