Danny In most cases, you can’t. It’s often the chrome that has been corroded. The only solution would be to re-chrome them, unfortunately, unless they are steel wheels from a vintage car, there is nobody doing chrome-over-alloy in the UK. It’s just too much of a difficult and expensive process… it would be cheaper to buy new wheels. So your only real alternative it to have the chrome stripped off and have them refinished with paint.
