A68 Certainly, but you will need to file a new H1B / H1 even for X, because if the old H1B / H1 were approved for full time employment, the change to part-time requires a new H1B / H1, UNLESS the old H1B / H1 (with X) was for a range of hours (10-40 hrs./week).
