Following law school I traveled/worked in business/pursued another graduate degree. How can I return to a career as an attorney?
Many large firms group entry-level lateral candidates with graduating law students, and expect them to submit resumes directly to the firm, for consideration along with the firm’s on-campus recruiting program. Search firms normally work with attorneys that have at least one year of active practice experience (or have completed a judicial clerkship), and have few requests for entry-level associates.
