Follow up question – how much damage does an unfit saddle do?
I personally would just get a new saddle. Even though it may be expensive to buy a new one, it’ll pay off then just keeping your current one that DOES have a fitting problem, which could ultimately injure him permantly and rake up a high vet bill. If you don’t have the budget for a brand new one, look into QUALITY used saddles. They tend to be lesser in price, and they have the added bonus of being broken in abit. Just make sure to work out a deal with the seller for a “test run” to make sure it fits both your horse and you properly!
