The Sandy City Police Department accepts applications for Police Officer only during an open recruitment process. To apply, you must submit a standard Sandy City employment application along with the police application addendum. In addition, you must include a copy of your resume, your POST entrance exam score (80% minimum), and type test results (30 wpm minimum). All five of these items must be included with your application or you will not be invited to the next step in the testing process. When the Fire Department has an opening that is available to the general public, interested candidates should submit a Sandy City application and resume.
