Floodplain Questions?
The City of Issaquah participates in the National Flood Insurance Program. If a building with a federally backed mortgage is located in a Special Flood Hazard Area, flood insurance is required. If you need to know if a property is located in a Special Flood Hazard Area, check the Floodplan Maps and Permits for Development in the Floodplain web page. You will find copies of Flood Insurance Rate Maps and regulations on building in the floodplain.
