FL 39 through 41 lines A-D: How is the Gross Patient Pay entered?
Response: The note section for Form Locators 39 – 41 is currently under revision. Billing guide revisions are posted to the DPW Web site under the What’s New Section when they become available. The amount of the Gross Patient Pay is the amount reported on the PA162 as the Patient Liability or Patient Pay amount. The PNA, spousal impoverishment allowance, veteran’s aid and attendance, etc., are already deducted.
