First and most obvious question is – what is science photography?
It is hard to specifically pin down what scientific photography means. I actually define it not by what we do, but why we do it. It is all about the intent. It’s the reason we take photographs. Rather than see a photograph as just an interesting picture, science photographers use the image as a source of data. In fact, photography has its birth and roots in science, not arts. Photographs were first used as a tool to document reality.
