Filter unwanted and inappropriate content?
PG Key has partnered its technology with Google’s safe search feature. When PG Key is plugged in, The PG Key Safe Search website will be set as the default home page. Your protected user should be guided to originate all searches from this site. If you have other tool bars installed on your protected user’s computer, you should remove them to prevent accidental use. It’s recommended, but not required, that you use Internet Explorer version 7 or higher. This will set the search bar at the top of the page to use the PG Key safe search settings. If you need assistance with any of these settings, our tech support staff is standing by to help. Note – many web sites have search functions that will not be subject to the same filtering provided by Google and PG key. It’s important to show your protected user the safe search locations. And remember, all of your protected user’s actions are recorded. You can review their activity in order to teach responsible web searching.
