• Paintable • Wood veneer option on interior to stain and varnish • Stronger material allowing less frame and more glass • Wider variety of colors than vinyl • Usually not as expensive as wood windows. • Maintenance free • Custom sizes usually not an up-charge • Has more of an insulating value than steel or aluminum CON’s • More expensive than vinyl • Wood veneer on closer inspection can show it is not real wood.
