Fellow Christians: What is a good website for studying Gods Word?
For studying God’s Word, get yourself a good Bible and read it often. Little bits everyday. Meditate and pray on what you’ve read. I’m not sure that there is any website out there that is sufficient for actual Bible study. Be selective of the translations, there are many “kinds” of translations out there into English. If you want a good “study” Bible, then you want one that is more literal in its translation, with many footnote explanations of other possible meanings. If you want one that’s easier to read everyday, in a more modern English dialect, then you have to look for that in a more dynamic translation. When you have questions about certain verses and their meanings, just be careful where you go looking for those answers. There’s all kinds of websites out there, for the good and for the bad.
