Featured Charity Terms: How is the redemption allocated?
Gift cards purchased through a ‘Featured Charity’ charity sponsorship are pre-designated by the purchaser for 75% of the card value. The remaining 25% is designated to the gift-recipient’s choice of charities. Our administrative fee is deducted, as with all charity gifts, from the total card value before sending on to the designated charities. It is $0.50 per card transaction fee + 5% admin and 3% credit card processing. The admin fee is used towards management of this nonprofit fundraising program for charitable giving, with the remainder to benefit special needs children. CharityChoice is a project of Special Kids Fund. Terms and Conditions CharityChoice Gift Cards are recipient-designated charity gifts: a project of Special Kids Fund (501c3, EIN 58-2550249). Only the gift-recipient is entitled to designate the charity, which he/she may do at any time. Cards never lose value, nor expire. We always retain a reserve for honoring unredeemed cards.
