FastEZ says that my file is invalid when I try to put it on a CD or DVD, even though I can view it in FastEZ. Why?
Most file formats have a very rigid and specific definition. Unfortunately, you quite often come upon files that are ‘close enough’ to this specification so that you can perform many tasks with them, but not all. For instance, most players (such as FastEZ or Windows Media Player) are very ‘forgiving’ when playing damaged MPEG files – they can correct the errors in the file well enough that they can still play. This doesn’t mean that the file is correct; it just means that the file is ‘good enough’ for some tasks. Unfortunately, creating a VideoCD or DVD is not one of these tasks. In order to create a VideoCD, DVD or Slide Show CD in FastEZ, your files must be completely valid with no errors or corruptions.
