Fall tuition is due the first week of August. How do I pay tuition with my financial aid if the federal funds don’t disburse until a week before classes begin?
When you accept the aid, your USF financial aid file is updated to reflect the anticipated federal aid that will be received on your behalf. The anticipated financial aid shows up as credit on your USF One Stop account and is noted as “Estimated Aid” until the funds actually disburse to USF. When the funds are actually received by USF, they are used to pay your tuition bill. If your federal aid and other aid (such as grants or scholarships) is sufficient to pay your tuition bill, any excess loan funds after tuition is paid is refunded to you.
