For WebCollect for IE, before upgrading, please make sure to close all running instances of WebCollect and relevant modules, including all IE instances/windows, because WebCollect DLL module is launched by IE. Closing all IE windows can release the WebCollect DLL instances, and allows the Setup program to replace it with the newer version of WebCollect DLL module. For WebCollect for Firefox, before upgrading, please make sure to close the running instance of WebCollect, and then start to install the .xpi pack from within Firefox. In case of potential problems replacing the old files, we suggest that you manually remove all the tempoarary files produced by WebCollect. The tempoarary files are located in the ‘webcollect’ sub folder under the ‘TEMP’ folder, by default, they’re located in this folder: ‘C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Local Settings\Temp\webcollect’.
