What about the resume that I sent you, didn’t you get it? What we got was a zip file that was called resume.zip and when unzipped, the contained file was file.wpd the contents of which, was copied & pasted by return e-mail to you. When mailing rsums, its best not to send a zip file but a word document file such as yourname.doc that can be opened in MSWorks or MSWord but can also be easily copied to your e-mail (a frequent request). Another way to send text attachments is the PDF file in Adobe Acrobat, since all can be opened, once downloaded (usually the link to do so is given where the PDF is requested) but frankly, we don’t see many rsum requests for that format. Employers get annoyed with the many attachment file types (and software versions) which often, they have to figure out how to open.
