External links not allowed – what does that mean?
Your PDF file contains links to external documents, and the publisher does not allow such links. These links can be URLs (hyperlinks) or mail addresses that are clickable. In Microsoft Word, these are often shown as text that is underlined and blue. Some LaTeX packages, such as hyperref, also generate such links. A Microsoft FAQ describes a way to get rid of all hyper links.
