Explain about wireless mesh deployment. Is this supported in the Cisco Unified Wireless network?
A. Challenges faced in the outdoor environment are different when compared to the indoor environment. Factors such as environment, interference, and security are substantially different. Wireless mesh provides solutions to deploy wireless networks in the outdoor environment. The Cisco wireless mesh networking solution enables cost-effective and secure deployment of enterprise, campus, and metropolitan outdoor Wi-Fi networks as an extension of Indoor networks, which provides a seamless client-roaming feature. The 1500 Series APs, in conjunction with the WLC, provides the wireless mesh feature.
