As mentioned above, there are a total of 9 zoom levels. Each zoom level is twice the magnitude of the previous zoom level. A 100×100 pixel image at zoom level 8 will show up as a 200×200 pixel image at zoom level 9. Conversely, it would show up as a 50×50 pixel image at zoom level 7. To better understand zoom levels, use the Virtual World Real Estate map and take note of the zoom level in the bottom right corner. You can take a look at the following example and zoom in and out.
