Excruciating chest pain, what do i do?
What kind of pain? Dull possibly heart related, sharp possibly resp related. Does it hurt when you take a deep breath or is it a dull crushing pain that is there all the time. You indicate you had a slight cough left over form a cold. Did the cough get worse or did it stay the same. There are too many things that can be in play here to give you a good answer on this. If you are still experiencing the pain go to the ER and get checked out. My best friend went for a run with a little bit of left over cold and ended up with a collapsed lung. Get it checked out.
My friend was having problems like this. Her chest would have really sharp pains very randomly. Mostly they happened at night, when she tried to go to sleep. For years, she didn’t know what it was. Eventually, she got married and pregnant and while she was in the room delivering her baby, her chest started hurting like it always had done. They ended up moving her into ICU after delivery. She had something wrong with her heart. I wish I could even begin to remember what they labeled her condition, but I can’t. But I can tell you it had something to do with something misfiring in her heart. If I’m remembering right, it’s kind of like your nerves in your body send tiny electric signals, something to do with those signals in her heart were misfiring- causing them all not to be the same. I know that’s probably completely confusing. Hopefully though, you see where I’m going. Anyway, she had surgery for it and as soon as she woke up, she said she felt better than she ever had in her whole lif
