Exactly which concentration camp was Anne Frank sent to?
She was taken first to Westerbork, which was a transit camp where Jews were held till there were enough people for a train-load. She (and her sister Margot, and her mother) were then transported to Auschwitz, where they have were forced to do heavy manual work. In October 1944, Anne and Margot were sent to a different camp, Bergen-Belsen, but their mother was kept at Auschwitz.
