Exactly how will hospitals be compared in the quarterly reports?
There are several comparison models under consideration (adult vs. ped, bed size, regional, code model). As participation increases, the number of possible categorical comparison groups increases. Future plans include the ability to do on-line analysis of your data which would allow for the selection of different comparative groups. Some of the data will be requested under the Facility Information section. Other facility data will be collected by survey every few years.
