Exactly how do I waive participation in the health insurance and/or health and counseling programs and the related fees?
Students who are covered by another health insurance plan may waive participation in the student health insurance program. Participation in the student health and counseling program for undergraduate students is required. Graduate students may elect to waive participation in the student health and counseling program and obtain a credit on their tuition bill to offset the fee. To process the Health Insurance waiver or the Health and Counseling Fee waiver, sign into webCentral. In webCentral: Select the following options: Student Tab Registration Tools Accept/Waive Health Insurance If you are a parent attempting to waive the health insurance for your son/daughter, you will need to log onto webCentral with your son/daughter’s Student ID number and PIN number. Without these two pieces of information you will not be able to log onto myWeb and complete this process. It is up to the student to share this information with you.
