Every time I turn on my Yamaha AV receiver, the Zone 2 & 3 lights turn on, on the display the receiver?
If the receiver is powered on using the system power on the front panel of the receiver, it is a complete system power up and includes Zones 2 & 3. To turn off Zones 2 & 3 you will need to set up the RX-V2400 remote for zone control. After that is complete, use the remote control [Standby] button to power your receiver off and the [Power] button on the remote control to power on. Setting up Zone 2 on the RX-V2400 remote control: • Set the [REC/RECORD OUT/ZONE] selector on the front panel of the RX-V2400 to [SOURCE/REMOTE]. • Press the DVD input selector on the RX-V2400 remote. • Press and hold the [Learn] button down gently using a paper clip for 3 seconds. DVD and Setup will blink alternatively on the remote LCD window. • Press the [Arrow to the right] button until L: AMP comes up in the remote LCD window. • Press the [Up arrow] button until Zone comes up in the remote LCD window. • Press the [Learn] button to complete Zone setup. • Select the [Source Select] up button until Zone 2 co
